We will not draw new Prayer Partners at the September picnic. Please continue to pray for the partner you drew in August. Perhaps you might contact them again to see how they are doing and if their prayer needs have changed.

PRAYER PARTNERS

Are you excused from attending the fraternity gatherings? Would you like to participate in the new Prayer Partner program?

At the August fraternity gathering we began a new program – Prayer Partners. Each month those who wish will put their names into a basket and later draw out a name from the basket. Each of us will give special attention to praying for the person whose name we draw. We are encouraged to call the person we are praying for early on in the month both as a way of getting to know that person better and to identify what we might pray for.

If you are excused from attending fraternity gatherings, but would like to participate in Prayer Partners, call Marilyn Wall at (202) 288-3013 or email her at mhope36@aol.com and she will see that your name is put in and draw a partner for you. Once started, you might ask your Prayer Partner to enter your name and draw for you the next month.Anyone unable to attend just one gathering who would like to be part of Prayer Partners that month should arrange it with someone who will be attending.
