Role of the Councilor

St. Mary of the Angels Fraternity has traditionally elected 3 councilors in addition to the 5 council members defined by the General Constitutions and National Statutes. There are no predefined duties for these councilors. Often they have coordinated special events such as retreats, professions or the Christmas party.

This is an excellent first position on the council, as it allows the councilor to observe close up how the council works and what each councilor has to do. The councilor can also suggest his or her own job description to the council.
